Textile City bags Russian order for cotton clothing

Khujand LLC Textile City, fully-owned by Joint Stock Company Abreshim, has bagged an order from Moscow-based Shveypromservis for export of cotton clothing. As per the agreement, Textile City will be supplying cotton clothes to Russia under PROTO and IOTA trademarks.
Under the deal worth one million somoni, the Russian firm would buy female blouses, and trousers and shorts for adults and children. It would generate enough work for the Khujand-based enterprise to continuously operate till the end of 2011.
Textile City is currently engaged in stitching cotton clothes as well as deep processing of cotton fibre.
