In November 2011, the Performance Days Trade Fair/Roadshow begins its seventh tour and already, 80 days before the start of the show, the Munich event was sold out. The exceptional acceptance enjoyed by the concept is underscored by a steadily growing number of exhibitors and visitors.

The trade fair team has also been quite busy: They have managed once again to sign new collaborations and prestigious speakers for the next iteration that are sure to attract large crowds of visitors to the Munich and Annecy venues. Additionally, this series promises expanded services for visitors and an ever greater number of exhibitors.

On November 21 and 22, 2011, the seventh Roadshow for functional fabrics will be in Munich, and in Annecy on November 24 and 25, 2011. The Roadshow has long since ceased to be an insider's secret and has become a mandatory appearance for all the early stage purchasing agents in the area of sportswear, workwear, and activewear — an event not to be left out of the appointment calendars.

Under the motto: “If you're standing still, you're falling behind” founding family Weichert and the trade fair team will once again roll out new collaborations and services at the coming tour that promise to offer visitors even more added value. Among the innovations in November:

• Expanded number of exhibits by six more places in Munich, bringing the total now to 74 stands - plus the area reserved for the Taiwanese Textile Federation.
• A new, free shuttle service in Munich that carries visitors from the “Frankfurter Ring” U-Bahn Station or from the “Nordfriedhof” bus stop on the airport line directly to the Fair Grounds at MTC.
• The trade fair newspaper “Performance News” has doubled in size and describes in detail the Performance Tables and the exhibitors at the Performance Forum and provides a ready working basis for sampling.
• High quality presentations for yet more information, with well-known guest speakers, for example, Charline Ducas from Textile Exchange, Nora Kühner from IDEAS, and Professor Dr. Billy Sperlich from the Wuppertal University of Sports Science.
• An expanded online presence, in which all premium exhibitors can communicate their news in advance in the context of the menu item “Exhibitor-News.” Even excerpts about the topics can be read in advance under “Presentations.”
• Several new collaborations: One of them is the online job exchange Monster.de for job announcements in the field of textiles and sport; another is the local DTB (Dialog Textil Bekleidung), which expressly informs its membership in the textile and clothing branches and invites them to the fair.

The Trade Fair Team is especially pleased with the new cooperation with DTB. Dialog Textil Bekleidung was founded in the year 1985 by the Willy Bogner Corporation in Munich. Companies throughout the entire textile supply chain come together in working groups to study the issues and propose solutionsto problems.
