Fast Retailing (FR), the parent company of UNIQLO, is targeting 5 trillion yen (approximately $59.5 billion) in sales and 1 trillion yen (approximately $11.9 billion) in profits by 2020. To meet these targets FR plans to continue to open UNIQLO stores in major U.S. cities, expanding its presence in the U.S market to provide consumers with an unparalleled shopping experience and the best in innovative high quality, affordable apparel. Worldwide there are 1,013 UNIQLO stores in 11 different countries, including flagships in Japan, China, France and United Kingdom.
