Orta, one of the world's largest denim manufacturers, launches its new “Slow-Fit” line of stretch denim with a sumo campaign.
Amateur sumo wrestlers Joey Nawa and Americus Abesamis each donned a mawashi, traditional sumo garment, made with Orta's “Slow-Fit” stretch denim for a photo shoot in Venice Beach, California.
“Slow-Fit” is a line of stretch denim designed to maximize comfortability as well as functionality while engaging in an active lifestyle.
Orta Anadolu is a Karamanci Holding affiliate and was established in 1953 as a spinning and weaving factory with 100 % Turkish capital.
In 1986, it was restructured and started to manufacture denim. The factory has a manufacture capacity of 45 million meters fabric and operates in an area of 156.000 sqm with 1170 employees.
The recent addition of the Orta Bahrain plant in Manama which serves as a gateway to various global destinations and expands Orta's production capacity by 10 million meters.
