Two world-class trade shows make splash in one premium venue

On October 18th and 19th, 2011, Shanghai Mode Lingerie and Interfilière Shanghai presented its seventh session of Two World-Class Events in one Premium venue for the international Lingerie and Swimwear industries: 241 exhibiting companies over 12,000 sqm displayed all sides of the lingerie and swimwear markets, from embroideries to swimsuits, and hosted 6 935 visitors from 55 countries.

Exhibitors from both of these international events expressed great satisfaction in the quality of visitors who came to work with them. In the same vein, Chinese visitors, but also an increasing number of visitors from other countries, noticed and approved an appreciable move upmarket in the products shown by Chinese and international exhibitors as well as at the Trends Forum.

In addition, the full program of Fashion Information – Fashion Shows and Seminars – was truly substantial this year, loaded with extra insights and knowledge, ripe for the picking by professionals in attendance.

• Chinese visitors made up 68% of total visitor fi gures.
• A major increase in international attendees also confi rmed the essential value of this show as the only event for the industry in Asia in the second half of 2011.
• The Top Five Visiting Countries remained the same as the previous session, but there was a notable increase in visitors from China (+23%), Hong Kong (+13%), Taiwan (+11%), Japan (+25%), and the United States (+58%).

192 exhibitors from Europe and Asia showcased lingerie and swimwear sourcing of the highest quality – from fi bers to fabrics, laces, embroideries, accessories, OEM/ODM and the latest innovations and technology for lingerie and swimwear components.
