Alton Lane, the new standard for premium custom men's clothing, officially opened in Washington, D.C. Alton Lane's new showroom overlooking Dupont Circle showcases the company's fine clothing line, keen attention to detail, comfortably masculine decor, as well as the latest technological innovations in the custom clothing industry.

With the opening of their newest showroom, Alton Lane makes the luxury of custom tailoring accessible to, and affordable for, a new generation of style-conscious men here in our nation's capital.

"After launching and building our brand in New York, we are excited to bring the Alton Lane experience and style aesthetic to Washington, D.C.," said Colin Hunter, Alton Lane's co-founder and CEO. "Like the District itself, Alton Lane is rooted in elements of history and tradition; yet we incorporate the best of modern technology and the latest styles to provide our clients with great fitting and relevant clothes."

Alton Lane D.C. will follow the successful model introduced and honed in New York's Flatiron district. The showroom boasts the following customer amenities:

• Browse samples of Alton Lane's bespoke clothing collection for business, social, and special events -- including suits, shirts, trousers, blazers, tuxedos, overcoats, and accessories
• Choose from a wide array of fabrics from the best mills in the world
• Experience the high-tech, 3D white-light body scanner, which helps our tailors ensure a perfect custom fit
• Gain insight from Alton Lane's highly knowledgeable personal style consultants
• Enjoy Alton Lane's private bar overlooking Dupont circle
• Watch sporting events on flat-screen televisions
• Relax in an environment of rustic masculinity -- leather sofas, animal-skin rugs, antique maps, and reclaimed wood

"Making sure that our clothes fit perfectly and that our clients look and feel terrific is critical to us; however, we are also supremely focused on providing a comfortable and engaging experience while they shop," said Peyton Jenkins, Alton Lane's co-founder and Vice President of customer experience.

"We've developed this unique relaxed masculine sanctuary that's not just a place to buy great custom clothing, it's also a welcome reprieve from the toils and hassles of daily life."

Founded in New York City in 2009, Alton Lane is a luxury lifestyle brand with a mission to revolutionize the menswear industry. The company is founded on three brand principles--better clothes, better value, better experience.

By combining groundbreaking technology with an innovative and exciting approach to custom-made clothing, Alton Lane is altering the way men think about and shop for professional and casual attire.
