Dec '11
Talus Outdoor Technologies, LLC, maker of the ColdAvenger line of cold weather protective gear announces a large retail partnership with Canadian retail powerhouse, Mark's Work Wearhouse.

Mark's specializes in jobsite work wear and footwear. ColdAvenger face masks offer an ideal fit for Marks, offering unprecedented warmth and cold weather protection for occupational workers and recreationalists in Canada.

“Mark's target market and mission statement are right in line with ours,” says John Sullivan III, CEO of Talus Outdoor Technologies. “Canadian occupational workers will not only value the long-term health benefits ColdAvenger provides, but will also be able to work longer, safer and more comfortable during the Canadian winter months.”

Mark's is stocking its shelves with ColdAvenger Classic, Expedition and Expedition FRC (flame resistant certified.)

The ColdAvenger's soft medical-grade polyurethane nose and mouth chambers mixes inhaled cold air with exhaled warm air to achieve a dynamic balance of warmth and humidity while keeping moisture away from the face.

The fabric is windproof, water resistant, and has a comfortable stretch to fit the face, ears and neck. The ColdAvenger's patent-pending ventilation technology keeps temperatures inside the mask 40-60 degrees warmer than outside air while allowing total free breathing.

Mark's Work Wearhouse is devoted to providing extraordinary clothing and footwear to Canadians. We define “extraordinary” as products that look, last, protect, feel better and are easier to care for than ordinary clothing and footwear.

It is a mission that resonates well with customers, since growing from one store in 1977 to over 380 stores across Canada. Mark's Work Wearhouse offer customer's exclusive private labels and Canada best sellers in men's and women's casual and business wear, outdoor apparel and work wear.

Founded and headquartered in Missoula, Montana, Talus Outdoor Technologies is a leading innovator in technologically-advanced outdoor gear. Talus is dedicated to helping outdoor enthusiasts Stay Out Longer. In 2007, Talus introduced the ColdAvenger, an advanced, high-quality cold weather protection mask developed by a physician and a skier.
