Sportswear firm Holden appoints distributor in Canada

Holden Outerwear, a firm based in US's Portland, Oregon has appointed Vancouver, BC-based No Limits Distribution as its sole distributor for Canada.

No Limits will help Holden raise its market share and brand holding in Canada.

Managed independently by an avid team of professionals including the original founders, Holden engages in manufacturing of eco-friendly snow and sportswear. It is dedicated to its mission of producing goods to ease the active life of people, both by way of fair business practices and through its durable goods.

Expressing his happiness over the deal, Darren Hawrish, Founder of No Limits, said Holden is a leading brand with a good image, which is not only environment consciousness, but is also committed to producing premium quality, innovative goods, which is something that No Limits would like to represent.

Mr. Hawrish said Holden is in a position where they have a real chance of improving the value propositions of the firm by not only increasing its market share, but also by earning a better recognition for the brand in Canada.

Ben Pruess, CEO of Holden said it is their pleasure to have No Limits as their distribution partner. The distributor's understanding of their brand and long term policy, alongside the distributor's brand mix, retail linkups and professional attitude for developing the brand, made their choice easy, he informed.

Mr. Pruess said they are happy that the partnership deal has been framed in a manner that would allow them to sustain Canadian prices at same levels as they were under their direct model, and would also have the advantage of added value of local service and expertise.

Holden is quite keen about its move and is very much sure that the distributor would continually keep working to strengthen the brand in Canada, he added.
