5boro NYC to release 'JOIN, OR DIE' at Agenda

Dec '11
The name 5BORO NYC was born from the five boroughs that collectively make up New York City: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens & Staten Island.

5boro was established in 1996 and has the distinct honor of being the longest continuously-running, independently owned-and-operated skateboard & apparel company in New York City's history.

5boro NYC returns to Agenda Long Beach to showcase a collection of hardgoods and apparel complimenting our upcoming video, “JOIN, OR DIE”, slated for a mid-February release. The hardgoods collection offers a deck series illustrating each of the 5BORO pro's individual influence on the Join or Die snake, our latest mascot.

The apparel collection features 5BORO classics and an assortment of T-shirts graphically inspired by concepts from vintage Vietnam jackets, maps, helmets, buttons and Zippo engravings all carrying the D. I. Y. illustration vibe.

Our Spring 2012 hardgoods & apparel collection is punctuated with the 5BORO X Carhartt W.I.P. collaboration, materializing the experiences of a tour between two crews, two cities and two brands with a like-minded road trip ethic of exploring and skating everything.

The 5BORO and Carhartt W.I.P. crews skated and documented their way from the founding city of 5BORO, “The Big Apple” to the founding city of Carhartt, “Motor City”.

Carhartt's Pontus Alv and 5BORO's Mark Nardelli worked together to mix Pontus' sketches and photos to create the collection, officializing this collaboration with a distinct Carhartt-colored, co-branded labeling system.

Look for 5boro X Carhartt video release & 5boro's “Join Or Die” full length video both dropping February.

AGENDA will take place at Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd.,Long Beach,CA 90802, January 5th & 6th, 2012.
