Vietnam's Garco 10 to boost exports in 2012

Garment 10 Corporation (Garco 10), one of Vietnam's leading apparel manufacturers, has resolved to boost its exports this year.
Last year, the Corporation exported goods worth US$ 50 million, showing an increase of 40 percent over its 2010 exports. Now, the Corporation has set an export target of US$ 67.2 million (VND 1.4 trillion) for 2012, up 35 percent year-on-year.
Accordingly, Garco 10's sales turnover is set to rise to US$ 75.9 million (VND 1.58 trillion) in 2012, as against its turnover of US$ 63.2 million (VND 1.3 trillion) achieved last year, which was a rise of 30 percent over the sales turnover of 2010.
To increase its exports, Garco 10 would enhance its production capacity by applying latest techniques.
Employing 8000 workers, Garco 10 produces more than 20 million apparel pieces each year, 80 percent of which are exported to the US, German, Japan and Hong Kong markets.
Garco 10 manufactures for some of the world's well-known names in fashion industry including Pierre Cardin, GuyLaroche, Maxim, Jacques Britt, Seidensticker, Dornbusch, C&A, Camel and Arrow.
