Eschler winter 2013/14: new start for traditional brand
Jan '12
These foam laminates are a special Eschler construction: they have great stretch quality, are hydrophobic on the outside and offer fantastic air permeability. It certainly is a hard task to fulfil: the demand of comfortable sportswear fabrics, which simultaneously offer robustness and durability – even with extreme rubbing friction. Eschler has put much pioneering work in uniting the contradictive requests. The brand now offers foam laminates with ceramic coating and can thus present the perfect synergy of high wearing comfort and resistance to mechanical wear. The diamond-hard ceramic particles can be applied on all e3 laminates. Customers can therefore order the same fabric with as well
as without ceramic coating.

This allows a creative mix of material. New, exciting surface structures underline the broad scope for design within this outstanding Eschler competency.

The e3 laminate range includes weight classes from 320 g/m² to 450 g/m².

(3) Ski Racing: market leader Eschler takes care of the juniors Eschler is known as the pioneer for alpine and nordic racewear textiles. The brand does not only deliver special fabrics for the world's best athletes, but also presents an adapted range for the juniors.

The young skiers need warmer, more durable and also less cost intensive versions of the professional racewear textiles. Eschler has developed a range of new fabrics for the suit manufacturers. They can be ordered in any colour as well as in white for transfer printing.

Christian Eschler AG – Touch Swiss Comfort: Founded in 1927, Eschler quickly advanced to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of functional knit fabrics. Today, the family owned business, based in Bühler/Switzerland, is managed by the third Eschler generation and specialises in elite as well as recreational sportswear, technical textiles and lingerie. As one of the first textile companies, Eschler committed itself to an environmentally friendly production cycle by becoming a bluesign system partner.
