Durable Goods for men launched

Lands' End travels the world seeking the best of everything, from fabrics to vendors, to bring its product designs to life. In search of the best men's tee shirts and sweats, they found them right here in the U.S.A. Lands' End launched its new collection of Durable Goods for men, featuring classically styled sweats and tees made in the U.S.A. – from start to finish.

“Quality matters at Lands' End. We look at every detail to make sure it meets our high standards. When seeking the best sweats and tees for our Durable Goods collection, we found everything we needed – from the fabric to the garment's construction with a third-generation, family-run mill – in the United States,” said Max Garbutt, Men's Division Merchandise Manager, Lands' End.

Creating Durable Goods is a national effort. Designed in Wisconsin, grown in Texas and crafted in California, each item is styled to endure. The collection features a Crewneck Sweatshirt, Short Sleeve Tee Shirt, Long Sleeve Tee Shirt, Sweat Pants and Sweat Shorts.

Each is nurtured to perfection from cotton grown in fields in the United States. Prices range from $30 for a Short Sleeve Tee Shirt to $60 for the Crewneck Sweatshirt. Items are available in classic shades of red, navy, yellow and green, plus gray heather and white.

“There's nothing more iconic than the American sweatshirt or tee shirt. These are just two pieces that define menswear in America. Durable Goods is about celebrating those items by bringing them back to the United States,” added Max Garbutt. “It's a collection that goes beyond gym wear. It's about items you can wear all the time. John F. Kennedy wore a sweatshirt while he was sailing. My father wore one when he would go out for a Sunday drive.”

Durable Goods are easy to live in. They're soft, loose fitting and carefully prewashed to mellow the fabric and lightly fade the colors until they're just right. Smart details such as rib-knit gussets under the arms and crotch offer greater give in places that need it.

Each piece features ringspun cotton grown across the U.S.A. that is then knit and dyed under the seasoned eyes of a third-generation, family-run mill in California.

Fabric cutting, sewing and inspection – all done to Lands' End's exacting standards – are also completed in California. Durable Goods are then shipped to Lands' End headquarters in Wisconsin, where expert customer service representatives and employees take, fulfill and ship orders.
