VICUNHA TEXTILE continues to go global and VICUNHA EUROPE is specifically focused on sales and marketing, as the denim giant promotes their product lines internationally.

Denim Première Vision remains the most important European trade fair for VICUNHA EUROPE: “At the last Denim Première Vision in December 2011, VICUNHA offered beautiful products to go under the Christmas tree. There are many more new products on the way for the next fair in May 2012,” Thomas Dislich said at the end of the Spring/Summer 2013 season.

In Denim Veritas for men
VICUNHA is investing in a much wider selection of authentic, masculine denim for Autumn/Winter 2013/14. The Brazilian denim giant is bringing out a variety of heavier grades, even up to 14oz. A visible weave needs a very strong fabric structure. You can tell real denim not only by its look, but by the way the material feels. Selvedge Denims, with a width of 80 cm – the real, original thing – is enjoying a revival in the new season.

Stretch is becoming more important to the menswear range. Different blends, including comfort stretch, maintain the integrity of authentic denim. Just one touch and you know:

Mega-super-ultra-power-stretch for women
The MOOVE collection concept has one of the best performance records in womenswear stretch collections, along with intensive indigo. And X-MOOVE sets a new record – the new product line has unbeatable stretch factor. VICUNHA denims for women that had 60% stretch and 40% power stretch are now fitted with 60% power stretch and 40% mega-superultra-stretch. The modern concept is meant for high-fashion products, because careful design is needed to ensure comfort and to hold the fabric's shape.

Coatings for all
Coatings, one of VICUNHA's hallmarks, are continuously being developed. The recent acquisition of the most modern printing and dyeing machines enables the development of innovative finishes, meaning new looks for Autumn/Winter 2013/14. The range of leather effects continues to expand with even greater choice. There are also many coatings that emphasize complex fabric structure. Complex industrial processes are needed to make the production of fashionable styles as simple and straightforward as possible. This is a major focus of VICUNHA's development department.

Double Face
A range of double-faced fabrics expands the range even further. Each side has its own charm – reversible, or perfect for jackets!

Wool for the winter
Let's get warm! An exciting project and highlight of the new season: wool and cotton unite in VICUNHA denim, to take full advantage of the warming properties of wool.

Eco factory
VICUNHA is committed to continuing their strict sustainability efforts, including water and cotton recycling, BCI-cotton, and preventing chemical waste. The concept of sustainability runs as a central thread through almost all areas of the supply chain. All products follow strict guidelines, from cotton, to bolts of cloth in VICUNHA's storehouses. Cotton can be traced practically to the square meter, thanks to the use of advanced tracking techniques.
