SuperGroup, a UK-based apparel retailer offering quality clothing and accessories under Superdry and Cult brands, has renewed its agreement with renewable energy supplier Good Energy for a further period of 12 months from July, 2012 onwards.
As per the deal, Good Energy will be supplying green electricity to all SuperGroup stores, offices and warehouses in the UK. In addition SuperGroup will also use software and energy management systems from Good Energy to enhance its energy efficiency.
Good Energy Group welcomed the renewal of contract and announced that due to recent investment it now has over 25,000 sites in its Feed-in-tariff (FIT) administration.
SuperGroup first signed a 12-month contract with Good Energy last July, and since then its number of outlets has increased by 10 percent.
Currently, SuperGroup has 76 standalone stores in the UK and it plans to add 20 more outlets this year. It also plans to unveil 50 international outlets in 2012.
