Aries Apparel, the only specialty female athletic apparel, equipment and accessories retailer in the Portland area has launched their first T-shirt design contest. Aries Apparel customers are invited to create a T-shirt graphic using words that are characteristic of the zodiac sign Aries. The contest takes place March 21 – April 19, 2012.

Participants are to use any combination of Aries words to design an original graphic. Aries words are: adventurous, energetic, courageous, enthusiastic, confident, dynamic, daredevil, assertive, individualistic, leader, competitive, defensive, fiery, powerful, extreme, quick, passionate, determined, fresh, strong-willed, independent, ambitious and active. The winning design will be printed on T-shirts and sold at Aries Apparel.

“We want our customers, and the community, to identify with Aries Apparel. This contest is a fun way for Aries shoppers to have the opportunity to create something that could become part of our brand. Who better than our customers to do that,” said Aries Apparel Owner Diana Marsden.

T-shirt designs should be dropped off at Aries Apparel located at 1890 NW 188th Avenue in Hillsboro near Tanasbourne or emailed to dianam@ariesapparel.com. The winning design will be selected April 30.

In January Aries Apparel launched the Winners Circle program inviting women of all shapes and sizes to participate in a clothing exchange program helping women feel great throughout their weight loss journeys. At any time during 2012, women are invited to visit Aries Apparel to register for the Winners Circle program and receive a $20 gift card toward the purchase of new workout apparel. Upon registration Aries Apparel will record participant's current clothing sizes; as a participant loses inches old, baggy workout clothes can be exchanged in the store for new workout clothes at 40 percent off.

Founded in 2008, Aries Apparel offers sport-specific athletic apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories for passionate, confident, and dynamic female athletes of all ages and skill levels.
