Alshaya in deal with Dalma Mall to open 37 stores in UAE

M.H. Alshaya Co, one of the leading names in international franchise retailing, trading from more than 750 stores across the Middle East, Turkey and Cyprus, has entered into a leasing agreement with Dalma Mall for opening 37 new retail stores, including apparel outlets, across the UAE.
Dalma Mall is the largest shopping and lifestyle destination located just off the island of Abu Dhabi.
As per the agreement, Dalma Mall will lease 173,000 sq ft of retail space, representing approximately 11 percent of its total leasable area, to house a wide range of apparel and other brands.
The new outlets will open in the last quarter of 2012 and will include stores of apparel and accessories brands such as Debenhams, Victoria's Secret, Next, H&M, Express, Mothercare and American Eagle Outfitters.
More than 60 percent of Dalma Mall's total leasable area of 1.6 million sq ft has already been leased as the company has signed partnership agreements with Landmark Group and others.
Already, over 60 stores have been opened at the Dalma Mall, which include Carrefour, Hypermarket and other leading retailers.
