China's sportswear brand Li-Ning now in India

Li Ning Company Limited, China's leading sportswear brand offering sports apparels and accessories, has entered the Indian market in collaboration with Indo Rubber and Plastic Works (Indo Rubber) India and Sunlight Sports, Singapore.
As per the agreement, Indo Rubber and Sunlight Sports will offer Li Ning and Kason brand apparels and accessories in India.
Mr. Ram Malhotra, Business Head, Li Ning India, said the strength of Li Ning brand lies in its high quality, innovative sports apparels, which will now be available to Indian consumers.
He said Li Ning's brand image coupled with Indo Rubber's extensive distribution network across India would help in promotion of Li Ning sportswear in the Indian market.
Li Ning was founded in 1990 by China's gymnast and six times Olympic medalist Li Ning.
