Interfilière Trends Forum decodes F/W 2013/14 trends

Dramatic: Black is the new black with fantasies and dreams. This trend is about sweet romanticism and flowers metamorphosed into erotic phantoms. Black seduction is decorated and embellished in refinement and sophistication exuding surprises and effects.
Interfilière Hong Kong also collaborated with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on a design project called “The Idol”. BA students in final year (2011-2012) in Fashion & Textiles with specialism in Intimate Apparel – Ace Style Institute of Intimate Apparel, Institute of Textiles & Clothing were asked to trace back the roots of lingerie and to create half prototypes and inspirational boards.
The overall aim of this project is to equip students with academic and practical knowledge of intimate apparel with the integration of design and technological aspects. It aims to develop competent and dedicated professionals for the intimate apparel industry, with a long-term view to enhance the design quality and technological development of the current and future intimate fashion business.
Interfilière Hong Kong provided more than a sourcing platform for its partners and organized a series of seminars during the show. LANDOR, one of the world's leading consulting groups shared with attendees 'Inspirational Thinking'; to inspire & encourage you to 'Think-Out-Of-The-Box'. TAGSYS, leading RFID solution provider presented a case study from Europe using RFID in Supply Chain Management (SCM). INVISTA, the global textile technology pioneer and fiber developer presented 'Winning with today's lingerie consumer -LYCRA fiber with W Technology fashions your essentials for growth'. In addition, Interfilière Hong Kong partnered with CONCEPTS PARIS, world's leading lingerie trend consultancy agency. All the seminars were well-received by attendees.
