The Vietnam Textiles and Garments Association (VITAS) has opened an office in Russia's capital Moscow.
At the inaugural event, Pham Xuan Son, Vietnam's Ambassador to Russia, described it as an important step for solidarity and cooperation between the two countries.
Do Quy Duong, President of VITAS, said the association was originally formed from the Thang Long Garments Club.
He said the VITAS Russian office would facilitate communication between its members and support their businesses in Russia.
The new office will also provide advice on Russian law and other matters to VITAS members.
