India's only homegrown and men's lifestyle brand Park Avenue, which provides stylish and innovative wardrobe solutions, has conjured up a daringly different eclectic mix through its Spring Summer 2012 collection for men, comprising relaxed clothing, leisure look and new pastel tones.

The Season's collection focuses on natural material and blends as wool blends, silk blend, 100% linen, linen blends for greater comfort, elegance & a relaxed look. The palette includes adorable colour accents such as citrus and purple, berry and sweet green. An innovative touch is the introduction of a new palette of linen jackets & stylized Bandgalas in pastel tones of yellow, green and plum for the leisure evening look.

Mr. Shreyas Joshi, President – Apparel, Raymond Limited, says, “The Park Avenue Men's Spring Summer 2012 collection eulogises trendy colours, which are apt for leisurely evenings and can be easily coordinated with Dress Casuals ensembles. Our stylists recommend mixing colours and pairing an ensemble as vividly showcased in the Park Avenue collection, where a purple jacket has been paired with a yellow shirt, while a berry coloured shirt is paired with a sweet green jacket. For the metrosexual, season-accent colours such as citrus and leaf green have been used for piping detailing in suits and jackets to coordinate with shirts and trousers. For the adventurous, summer fresh tones in classic Prince of Wales checks in silk blends add a trendy look to be combined with denim/ tees for a leisure look.”

In terms of formal business suits, the Park Avenue Men's Spring Summer 2012 collection advocates a classic & clean look with tones of melange greys & navy or black as primary colour base with 70% range on wool blend/ polywool & wool rich base. Blazers being an integral part can be easily combined with denims/ dress casuals pants to bring out an interesting mix & match look. A young look can materialize through lycra blended urban jackets in micro structures in slim fir to team up with cotton trousers & denim.

To address the needs of the hectic traveler, wool rich machine washable suits with easy care treatment is being offered in premium travel category. The adventurous can try the toned down sheen for slim fit jackets & bandhgalas this season for cleaner elegant look to be combined with dark denims/ casual evening line launched.

For the 'Men in Black', the Park Avenue “Black Collection” in suits focuses on Tuxedo inspired styles with satin detailing on lapels & pockets. It offers a classic evening attire comprising black suit combined with white shirts as well as slim & smart fit new age black suits & premium polywools with satin detailing, which can be combined with specially designed Pintuck white shirts to complete the look.

Offering several new permutations and combinations, jackets in silk blend, wool linens in the season's fashion colours can be paired with the denim look. Chambray blue & denim blue tones linen & blended jackets with soft constructions & padding are being introduced as novelty. Halflined wool lycra blended Travel Blazer being introduced with excellent crease recovery and comfort properties and make them ideal for today's globe trotter.
