New concept for trade fair meets broad acceptance

The Performance Forum is also an important platform for talented young designers: Students at the ESMOD fashion school in Munich were able to implement their design visions this time under the motto "Function Meets Sportswear" in the context of a competition. They were supported by their teachers and designer Alexa Dehmel (creator of the Performance Forum) and the fabrics were supplied by the exhibitors at Performance Days. The 12 best outfits plus the winning outfit were presented at the Performance Forum

The virtual version of the trade show, the website: www.365PerformanceDays.eu celebrated its premiere just three weeks earlier. More than half of the exhibitors from May 2012 present their latest innovations for the coming six months in the online trade show, which is implemented in collaboration with WTP.

Another highlight got underway in a test phase: In the future, all presentations held at Performance Days will also be available live and at no charge via the internet as a Powerpoint show with the speakers' audio stream. The first lectures were already streamed on as "Webinars" on May 9-10. Registration for the virtual trade show, as well as for the webinars is free.

The volume of positive feedback makes it clear that the show's organizers must proceed with big plans for the next show: The November trade show will be expanded from two to three days! Trade show manager Stefanie Sacherow added: "The booths were well visited this time, some of them almost too full. Because we place great value on the opportunity for exhibitors and customers to work effectively together, and in response to numerous requests, we have decided to expand the length of the exhibition by one more day."

"This will relieve the appointment calendars on both sides and also ensure a top quality working environment in the future. The additional day gives visitors the time they need at the trade show to discover all the new brands previously unknown to them and to visit the speaking presentations."
