TEA welcomes TN Govt power cut reduction decision

The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu announced the lifting of the power holiday for HT & LT industries and the compulsory power holiday for industries on Sundays and reduction of load shedding from four hours to three hours.
Dr. A. Sakthivel, President of Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA) said the announcement has come as a big relief to the garment exporting units of Tirupur and he thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister for the favourable announcement.
He also noted that after this measure, the units in Tirupur could reduce their cost of manufacturing and also follow the production planning and export shipment efficiently.
Dr. A. Sakthivel expressed his confidence that the power situation will reach the perfect position after commissioning of the ongoing projects and ensure the development of industries in Tamil Nadu.
