Susie Mulder has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Nic + Zoe, the growing women's apparel brand which has already reated a cult-like following at specialty and department stores like Nordstrom.  Ms. Mulder previously served as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader in the Global Retail and Consumer Goods practice.

"I strongly believe in the potential of Nic + Zoe," says Ms. Mulder. "My number one goal is to build a unique identity for the brand—one that complements the creative genius of designer Dorian Lightbown and the voice of our consumer."

Founded in 2005 by Kent Spellman, designer Dorian Lightbown, and EVP of Merchandising Jane Dunning, Nic + Zoe has built a sizeable business catering to the underserved 35+ woman who demands timeless head-to-toe looks. Known for exceptional color and sophisticated prints, the brand has a reputation for turning consumers into brand loyalists.

"My previous experience driving growth for global brands and retailers has prepared me for the position of CEO at Nic + Zoe," says Ms. Mulder.  "I have the utmost respect and admiration for Kent, Dorian and Jane and all they have accomplished.  I consider it a privilege to partner with this exceptionally talented team and work with them to bring the company to new heights."

"I could not think of anyone better suited to bring into the Nic + Zoe family," says Mr. Spellman. "We are excited to welcome Susie to the team and look forward to a successful partnership with her."

Since its launch in 2005, Nic + Zoe has established a strong reputation for appealing design and consistently delivers a modern, high quality line of clothing.
