Saks Fifth Avenue to open store in Merrimack USA

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH announced that it plans to open a store in Merrimack on Thursday, June 14. The 28,032 square foot store is located in Merrimack Premium Outlets, a new shopping center just 55 miles northwest of Boston.

The store’s launch will coincide with the outlet’s Grand Opening Celebration, which will last from June 14 until June 17. Operated by Simon Malls, the Outlet Center will be home to a collection of 100 designer and name-brand outlet stores, up to four restaurants and a food court.

“We look forward to debuting Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH in a beautiful new shopping facility,” noted Robert Wallstrom, President of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. “We are excited to bring Merrimack a fresh assortment of top designer brands at the best prices.”

The store will feature Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH’s innovative ‘luxury-in-a-loft’ store design, a novel layout that has been well received and set a new standard in outlet shopping. This design maximizes efficiency and flexibility, enabling easy changes in the general layout.

The store will be bright, uncluttered, with no hard aisles and one consistent hard-surface floor throughout. All fixtures will be on casters, ensuring ease in movement, and all hardware will be interchangeable between fixtures.

A distinctive assortment of brands will be available at outlet prices in the new store, including women’s and men’s apparel, fine jewelry, and children’s collections.

Women will find both designer and contemporary merchandise, with summer’s most sought-after womenswear trends, such as bold colors and prints, maxi skirts and dresses, and loosely woven knits.

Men can shop from a myriad of contemporary brands including Robert Graham, Affliction, Members Only, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vince, and John Varatos; a variety of menswear denim options such as True Religion, Seven for All Mankind, Joes Jeans, Levi’s, and Hudson; and a shoe selection from John Varvatos Star USA, To Boot New York, and Cole Haan.

For children, the store will offer a range of fun pieces for the summer, including bright colors, prints, and sportswear. The Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH location will additionally provide customers with a wide range of jewelry designers such as Roberto Coin, Penny Preville, John Hardy, Judith Ripka, Stephen Webster, Elizabeth and James, Ippolita, Alexis Bittar, Tara Pears, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nava Zahavi.

In celebration of the Shopping Center’s grand opening, Merrimack Premium Outlets will be hosting a weekend filled with special events, live performances by local talent, and many enter-to-win prizes, including a $250 gift card to Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, and a $5,000 shopping spree to Merrimack Premium Outlets as the grand prize.
