Eyeing vast growth potential in Gulf Emirates, Canada’s leading specialty lingerie retailer La Vie en Rose has announced expansion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The company, which has recently established its presence in Georgia, is now also planning to expand in Kazakhstan, besides the UAE, during the current year.

The company will add seven boutiques to its existing network in the UAE and two in Kazakhstan by Fall 2012.

Catering to ladies in the age group of 25-45 years, the company, known as a bra specialist, also presents a range of lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear and swimwear that evoke confident sophistication, natural beauty and sensual passion.

Company President and CEO François Roberge said besides penetration in new markets, their development strategy also aims at expanding in markets where they are already present and have an established clientele.

From 2004 to till date, the Montreal-based company has launched more than 55 international La Vie en Rose boutiques at various locations across nine countries.

With the recent launch of first La Vie en Rose boutique, Georgia joined the list of countries like UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Algeria and Saudi Arabia, where the company already has its presence.

La Vie en Rose, the firm that Mr. Roberge acquired in 1996, now operates over 155 boutiques in Canada, which includes three concept stores – La Vie en Rose Outlet, La Vie en Rose and La Vie en Rose Aqua.
