Dixcy to focus more on womenswear brand 'Scott for Her'

Dixcy Textiles, the Indian innerwear company that has a carved a niche for itself in the men’s innerwear market through its brand Dixcy Scott, is planning to increase its focus on its womenswear brand ‘Scott for Her’.

Speaking to fibre2fashion, Mr. Rahul Sikka, Director, Dixcy Textiles, said, “We are aiming at excelling and become a leader in all the product lines that we offer.”

“We plan to increase our focus on ‘Scott for Her’, a chic new casual collection for women, teenage and little girls,” he adds.
 
Apprising about the product range of ‘Scott for Her’, he says, “The product offering comprises of casual wear. It currently comprises capris, Tees and tracks for women; tracks, Tees, shorts and capris for girls; and tracks, Tees and shorts for teenage girls.”
 
Talking about the future growth pattern of womeswear segment, he opines, “The womenswear segment is expected to grow at a higher rate and reach market share equal to menswear by 2020.”
 
Besides focusing on the womenswear segment, Dixcy Textiles is currently developing its own e-commerce website. The company is also planning to open its own exclusive branded outlets (EBOs) very shortly.
