The event ended on a high note with designers and merchants from internationally well-acclaimed brands visiting the new office and showrooms. Under the main theme of “Emotioning”, Department of Product Development and Merchandising creatively presented their latest fabric creations in 5 inspired sections: the Emotion of the first time, the Emotion of a new blend, Slow E…Motion, the Emotion of Darkness and the Emotion of Music, which are intended to generate and provoke emotions.
The event dived into the essence of the Fall-Winter 2013/14 season, uncovering a unique and emotional atmosphere with the season’s core representative fabrics, as well as the most fashionable colors and directions. Esquel’s Accessories and Packaging, Specialty Yarn and China Retail also showcased their latest collections and product innovations.
A key highlight of the event was the new “Botanic Collection” which makes use of natural dyes from plants, earth clays and even insects. The “Botanic Collection” was displayed on a beautifully designed bamboo rack accommodated with many plants. The area also featured a “Green Room” that allowed visitor to plunge into a world of extraordinary decors with a green and imaginative nature.
