Under Armour launches Tottenham Hotspur FC Home & Away Kit

Under Armour and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club today unveiled the Club's new home and away kits for the coming 2012/2013 Season. The new Tottenham Hotspur performance and apparel ranges are Under Armour's first kit supply agreement with a Barclays Premier League team and represents the brand's largest team sponsorship to date.

The kit launch also marks the start of Under Armour's five-year collaboration as technical partner to Tottenham Hotspur. The home and away kits are available on Tottenhamhotspur.com beginning at midnight on 13th July 2012.

Tottenham Hotspur new Under Armour kits epitomise the Club's motto: "To Dare Is To Do." The all white home kits and classic navy blue away kits integrate the brand's signature apparel innovations, specifically designed to enhance player performance, with the Club's distinct heritage and on-pitch accomplishments.

In addition to the authentic performance range, Tottenham Hotspur supporters will also be able to don a replica version with a number of the same technology features that will help Spurs players perform their best in training and on match day.

Commenting on launch of Tottenham Hotspur's new Under Armour Kit, Daniel Levy, Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur said: "With the Club about to move into a new state-of-the-art Training Centre, the launch of this partnership with Under Armour comes at a very exciting time for us.

"Not only are they one of the most exciting brands in world sport, but Under Armour also has a reputation for performance and technical excellence and this is demonstrated by the fantastic kit they have designed for this coming season."

"Today is a defining moment for the Under Armour brand as we debut our new kits for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club," said Kevin Plank, Founder and CEO, Under Armour. "Tottenham has a tremendous heritage and a passion for winning that makes them the perfect match for our brand. This partnership will introduce millions of football fans around the world to our innovative performance apparel, footwear and accessories that are designed to help all athletes perform better."

Kit Technology

Embedded within all of the kits is a disruptive element of Under Armour design and innovation. The base textile of the shirts is fabricated of razor-thin Under Armour HeatGear stretch woven, capable of keeping the players lighter and drier than their opponents. Both the home and away kit shorts share the same HeatGear stretch woven. The stretch woven allows complete fluidity of motion for the players' strike and stride with great stretch performance benefits.

In order to maximise this revolutionary fabric on-pitch, the authentic Tottenham Hotspur range as worn by the players will have a distinct, aggressive look with the shirts cut to Under Armour's Fitted Fit, close to the body for optimal moisture management, breathability, and performance.
