New York-based designer Faina Busso has opened a salon for LAVAN, her collection of haute couture bridal and evening wear. The salon will feature one-of-a-kind pieces designed by Ms. Busso, and host trunk shows featuring the designs of fashion's most sought-after couturiers. Maggie Norris, based in Manhattan, will be the first of the boutique's "designers-in-residence." Her affinity for exquisite detail perfectly complements LAVAN for the upcoming collaboration.

"I am thrilled at the opportunity to showcase the most unique bridal fashions," says Ms. Busso. "I have always attracted clients who cannot find exactly what they want off the shelf. Every bride wants to feel special on their wedding day...and some brides prefer a custom-fit or modest approach to their wedding dress. LAVAN COUTURE caters to these brides, offering a distinct vision, custom fit and tailoring, and the finest silks and crystal beading."

Faina Busso is no stranger to the art of couture. As wedding consultant Rachaelle Deitz Ostrove explains, "Faina has 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked for some of the finest design houses in New York City."  She adds, "Her work is hand-made, exquisitely crafted and one-of-a-kind...my wedding gown was a LAVAN original and every detail was perfect."
