Colours, light and breeziness – these are BRAX's synonyms for spring/summer 2013. Inspired by the jewel of the Côte d'Azur, the Cap d'Antibes peninsula near Nice, BRAX has sketched out an authentic nonchalant style with its trend collections that let you feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

The world is movement. Fresh breeziness, the height of in vogue and the Riviera atmosphere that epitomised the 60s recasted in the light of today permeate the relaxed, sporty looks of the spring/summer season. A modern optimistic style informed by an emotive interplay of colours in soft ice and candy-tinted hues.

This summer is getting hot and spicy. Shades of curry, pepper, cinnamon and mustard spice up the colour palette based on different hues of ocean blues that are ignited by cacao and dune. Denim, in a multitude of new blue shades, buoys the "world of blue." As fashionable seasonals, BRAX plays with fresh colours ranging from mint and basil to earthy green to create captivating accents. Neutrals in shades of sand, beige, sesame and ginger lend even greater appeal. A multifaceted tableau that reveals an authentic summer style whether combined or solid.

Five pocket trousers and chinos remain go-to basics while new models get an exciting update. The new slim chino styles Evolution and Eddy add variety to the flat front range, while Cooper-Fancy and Cadiz bring sporty casual appeal into the five pocket segment. Created with modern fits and comfortable rises, these styles triumph in the fashion segment. The use of masculine details and trimming heightens the quality and intrigue. Finely crafted embroidery, selvage tapes on the waistbands, logos and labels as well as colour-coordinated, enameled and personalised buttons underscore the high quality synonymous with the BRAX name. Exceptionally fine appliqués and accessories made of metal and leather can be found in the chino, casual trouser and denim segments. Washed and waxed leather teams with it all beautifully.

Lasting quality and innovation distinguish the BRAX collection. Soft satins for five pocket trousers, amplified in reactive finishings, flank summery linen blends in easy-wearing materials as the highlights of the season. Natural kapok in the flat front and five pocket segment also radiates easy wearability. Micro patterns combined in checks and stripes provide for an innovative and summery cool handfeel as well as comfort at high temperatures. The sporty chino segment luxuriates in the use of authentic gabardine with quality rooted in a symbiosis of a robust handfeel and an innovative PPT dyeing process. New designs such as bi-colour canvas, mini checks, fine stripes and mini structures as well as twin side fabrics in masculine contrasting materials and a high-quality look are the pinnacle of high style.
