The New Pistol Clothing Company, a Sydney-based garment printing firm, has recently bought a highly sophisticated inkjet apparel printer, Kornit Breeze 921, which has helped the Australian firm enhance its quality.

Established in 2006, New Pistol is Australia’s first online ordering website, which offers customized printing services on T-shirts, hats, aprons and bags.

The printing company’s Marketing Manager, Mr. Joshua Singer, in a chat with Fibre2fashion, reveals the benefits of the newly procured inkjet printer. “Because of the Kornit Breeze 921, our printing quality has improved. The machine has drastically reduced the total production time and as a result our company is receiving faster turnaround,” he said.

Further emphasizing on the qualities of the printer he says, “We can print at a higher resolution and there is no need to pre-treat the garments with spray coating.”

“Moreover, there are no marks left on the apparels after printing and the durability of the prints also has improved,” he mentions.

Justifying the high cost of the inkjet printer, Mr. Joshua says, “Its price is worth it for the amount of features and values we have at pistol. We are aiming more for quality printing, and not to be the cheapest supplier in Australia.”
