PopCap Games, maker of some of the world’s most popular video game franchises and a division of EA, today announced the launch of the new Plants vs. Zombies online store, featuring hard-to-find and unique merchandise based on the hit game. The new retail site is live now.

PopCap has partnered with Treehouse Brand Stores to create a unique, one-stop shopping destination for fans of PopCap’s multi-million unit selling game. The store will ship exclusive, high-quality products from both the United States and the UK, providing PopCap fans around the world access to a wide variety of Plants vs. Zombies goods.

Merchandise available at launch will include apparel such as t-shirts, infant “one-sies” and hooded sweatshirts; plush toys and figurines; accessories like hats, lunchboxes and mugs; limited edition art and a limited amount of merchandise from licensors such as calendars and Pop! Figures.

“We’re excited to give our fans access to exclusive Plants vs. Zombies merchandise that they can only find at PvZStore.com,” said Brennan Townley, director of brand licensing at PopCap Games.

“We’ve worked closely with Treehouse, known for its innovative product design, global distribution and excellent customer service, to create a best-in-class online retail experience that will carry everything from plush toys and apparel to limited edition art, with new offerings being added on a ongoing basis.”

Known for its quirky, one-of-a-kind blend of art, humor, polish and attention to detail, PopCap has been a mainstay of casual, mobile and social gaming for more than a decade.

More than a billion people around the world have played PopCap’s video games, including the award-winning, blockbuster franchises Plants vs. Zombies, Bejeweled, Zuma, Peggle and Bookworm. The breadth of PopCap’s audience is similarly impressive, as its games appeal equally to both genders and all ages.
