Fashion SVP, London has announced it is attracting leading manufacturers from countries which have not previously exhibited at the event, and in some cases in the UK, before.

This surge of interest in the UK fashion industry by ‘fast fashion’ manufacturers from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East is credited to increasing confidence in the UK fashion industry and economy.

Fashion SVP to be held from 23rd to 25th September 2012, Olympia West Hall, London UK.

Fashion SVP is quickly becoming established as an important meeting place for manufacturers and sub-contractors of fashion, and key retail and wholesale buyers looking to source reliable and high-quality new suppliers.

This is confirmed by the fact that this second edition of the show will feature exhibitors from ten different countries including: Romania, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Latvia, and the UK!

Ken Baber, Fashion SVP’s Show Manager, says, “This surge of new exhibitors and countries is good news for Fashion SVP and the buyers attending.  We are seeing a definite increase in the level of interest and confidence in the UK fashion industry.

“The strength of the British pound, the launch of The British Fashion Council’s ‘Future of Fashion – Strategic Considerations for Growth’ report and also the eyes of the world focusing on the UK’s summer of celebration has clearly attracted manufacturers from new countries to Fashion SVP. We’re looking forward to really effective and useful event for senior buyers.”

Exhibitor Rita Norviliene Sales Director of Garlita in Lithuania says, “The UK Fashion market has grown a lot recently. We are exhibiting at Fashion SVP because we have noticed that more and more UK companies are looking for interesting products and they pay much more attention to quality.”

Exhibitor, Mrs Boutaina Larini, General Manager of Larinor, Morocco, says, “We decided to show at Fashion SVP because it offers us an excellent platform to reach the UK markets and buyers which are a fresh and important to us.”

UK based exhibitor, Azra Devonshire owner of Devaz Leather Ltd, says, “Normally, companies set themselves up first in their home countries; but I established myself abroad first and now I am ready to work with reputable customers here. I think Fashion SVP will be an ideal platform for us to achieve this.”
