Three topics to attract speakers at 28th IAF Convention

Speakers from renowned companies and organisations worldwide have already confirmed their attendance at the 28th IAF World Apparel Convention to be held on 26 and 27 September 2012 in Oporto, Portugal. The International Apparel Federation (IAF) is pleased to announce the moderator and speakers in the Fashion Retail and Consumer Behavior Session.

During the Fashion Retail and Consumer Behavior Session, the following topics will be highlighted:

1. Market developments in major fashion markets
2. Branding
3. Cross channeling

The moderator of this session, Mr. Ken Watson, is CEO of Industry Forum Services Ltd (UK). Ken is an expert in clothing supply chain issues and has extensive knowledge of international fashion retailing, wholesaling and distribution and manufacturing, and has worked in all areas of the retail supply pipeline from fibre through sourcing, manufacturing and wholesaling of brands to retail. His consultancy experience has included working for companies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North and South America.

Ms. Magdalena Kondej, Global Head of Apparel Research at Euromonitor International, is the keynote speaker during this session. Magdalena Kondej manages the annual research programme for the global apparel industry.

The upcoming 28th IAF World Apparel Convention will be held on 24 – 28 September 2012 in Oporto, Portugal, and will focus on the theme Fashion Business in a Changing Environment.
