The shirts were designed to portray the vast territory affected by West Virginia’s coal industry, which provides electricity across the United States. As part of an homage to the West Virginia coal miners, the Mountaineer State is highlighted in gold to signify the wealth of resources generated there.
“It’s a powerful graphic that immediately emphasizes the importance of West Virginia in providing coal around the country,” began Cam Payne, Director of Operations of Remember The Miners and native West Virginian. “We’re proud to mine the coal that powers America here, and these shirts really drive home the message of mining coal as “America’s Real Source of Energy.””
One-sided T-shirts are available, while double-sided shirts, which bears the Remember The Miners logo on the front, with the full-size “America’s Real Source of Energy” graphic on the back. Both shirts are available in sizes S-XXXL.
The “Real Source of Energy” are available in the merchandise store of the Remember The Miners website, which also carries a variety of other forms of apparel to show support for the mining community.
