Trunk Club -- the premiere online men's clothing service that provides personalized styling and hand-picked trunks of high-end clothes -- announced the launch of its Designer Series – collaboration between Trunk Club and some of its best-selling brands. Each limited-edition trunk in the series will feature a curated selection of items created exclusively for Trunk Club by a featured clothing label.

The series kicks off in mid-September with the Theory Designer Trunk which features ten essential pieces from the brand's fall/winter collection, including sweaters, shirts, jackets, trousers, and outerwear. Featuring the clean silhouettes, quality craftsmanship, and versatility Theory is known for, the collection of stand-alone pieces serves as the foundation for a sophisticated contemporary wardrobe.

"Theory is a perfect brand for the Trunk Club guy because it provides versatile and timeless pieces that can be worn to work or on the weekend, just as easily," said Jason Smith, Trunk Club VP of Product. "Beyond the clothes themselves, the Designer Series shows how strong our relationships are with our retail partners. We're excited to work with top brands to give our best customers an exclusive offering that we know they'll love."

As a follow up to the Theory partnership, Trunk Club is working with Swedish fine shirt maker Eton for the second trunk in the Designer Series. Available in October, the Eton trunk will showcase distinct, custom patterns -- available only to Trunk Club members -- on a collection of five shirts, two ties and a pocket square.

Each piece will be crafted from the finest yarns and use the same cutting edge weaving technology and unique finishing process that Eton has been known for since 1928. The collection of custom-patterned shirts includes dress and casual styles in a range of fabrics, including poplin, twill, and flanella.

"It's great to work with partners who have truly unique ideas, those who break the mold so to speak, but do so in a quiet sort of way without a lot of fanfare," said Sebastian Dollinger, Head of Design at Eton.

"While building this exclusive collection for Trunk Club, I had this in mind: to create something truly unique for them, but still very much Eton. What we developed is a unique group of shirts that cover every occasion and add a spring to the wearer's step, but don't overpower an outfit."

Each collection in the Designer Series will be presented in a custom-designed trunk and will be available for a limited time in limited quantities. Plans for future Designer Series collections with other current and new brands are scheduled for 2013.
