The compendium, ‘Ethical Sourcing – Being Responsible Pays’ will enable these producers to connect with global clothing brands. This shall be made available in three formats – a downloadable copy, online format and a print version.

How can a producer profit from the initiative?
The ‘Ethical Sourcing – Being Responsible Pays’ compendium will feature textile and garment producers following ethical standards. The online version will highlight the mission statement of company on ethical policy, brief description about ethical policy, company profile, production capacities, certifications and achievements, product catalogue, video files and contact details.

Moreover it will also carry banners displaying their logo & brand, promotion of ethical policy through high streaming videos, featured articles & informative content and webinars for connecting directly with the target audience.

The print version will provide two exclusive pages which will carry the mission statement of company on ethical policy, message from the top management (CEO/MD), brief description about Ethical policy undertaken by the company, infrastructure, production capacity, certifications and achievements, product catalogue and contact details.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr Seth Petchers, CEO of fair-trade label – ‘Shop’ for Change’ says, “As consumers grow increasingly discerning, an understanding of fair trade and eco-friendly sourcing is a must for brands.
