PVH Corp. announced a multi-year marketing partnership between its IZOD brand and 2012 U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson. As part of the multi-year agreement that begins in 2013, Simpson will wear IZOD Golf apparel on-course and contribute to future product development.

“We are thrilled to welcome a golfer of Webb’s caliber and character into the IZOD family,” said Mike Kelly, Executive Vice President of Marketing for PVH. “He embodies the IZOD brand with his energetic and competitive American spirit and as a proven winner who is poised for great success; we look forward to working closely with him in the years to come.”

On the PGA Tour, Simpson will wear IZOD Golf shirts with the brand’s logos present on the left chest and back yoke, along with IZOD Golf pants and belts. The three-time PGA Tour winner will be featured in point-of-sale materials at participating retailers, in on-air and print advertisements, and on izod.com and IZOD’s social media channels.

“I am extremely excited to be joining the IZOD team,” said Simpson. “I’ve always believed that how you feel affects how you perform and I am impressed with the comfort and sophistication of the IZOD Golf apparel. I look forward to working with IZOD’s design experts and applying my experiences as a Tour player to the future product development.”

Ranked No. 8 in the world, Simpson is a member of the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Team that will compete at Medinah Country Club on September 28-30. His three PGA Tour titles include the 2012 U.S. Open, the 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship and the 2011 Wyndham Championship.
