H&M opens first flagship store in Thailand

Along with franchise partner J.S. Gill, Sajni Gill, and Store Manager Wanwijit Inleang, the invited guests Chadatip Chutrakul, Supaluck Umpujh, Kriengsak Tantiphipo, and Elizabeth Moorthy officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony and welcomed an excited crowd of H&M lovers into its first Thai store. The lucky first 150 customers in line were rewarded with 2,000 Baht vouchers.

“We have had an amazing response from our customers here in Thailand today, and we look forward to bringing them fashion and quality at the best price. We are also excited to partner with Hthai, who will bring the customers H&M’s core values,” says Par Darj, Country Manager Franchise for H&M.

The previous night, at the pre-launch party, fashionable guests were invited to preview and shop at H&M’s brand new two-storey 3,200 square meters store while being treated to new seasonal fashion and the latest trends. Some of the most notable guests were actors Khemmanij Jamikorn, Chermarn boonyasak, Peechaya Wattanamontree, Nawat Kulrattanarak, and singers Arak Amornsupasiri and Peter Corp Dyrendal.

H&M’s new store at Siam Paragon carries a complete range of fashion and accessories for women, men, and children with new items in store daily. This Autumn Winter 2012 season showcases sleek and sculptural silhouettes matched with bold shapes and confident decoration for women, while men can re-invent sharp-suited 60’s silhouettes where layering, texture and colours bring tailoring traditions right into the 21st century.

The H&M flagship store is located at Siam Paragon Shopping Center, Bangkok. Opening hours are 10.00am to 10.00pm daily.

Following the first store opening in Siam Paragon, H&M will continue its expansion in Thailand with a second H&M store opening in a new retail destination, The Mall Bangkapi on October 10th, 2012.
