To stay prepared for every challenge the weather presents, the Nike Holiday 2012 range showcases advanced fabric technologies – including Hyperwarm, Dri-FIT and Denier Differential – that have been specially developed with the winter athlete in mind, keeping them warm and dry in all environments, from traversing a snow capped mountain to walking to a downtown gym.

Hooded jackets and strategically placed areas of durablewater resistant (DWR) protection shelter from showers while hi-vis features help stand out from the winter gloom. For that extra motivational push often needed this time of year, gadgets such as the Nike+FuelBand monitor performance, allowing athletes to pit themselves against their own personal best or their friends.

Every detail of every piece of Nike apparel has been designed to optimise performance – right down to the last zip, seam and perforation. There’s no sport, no terrain, no weather scenario that winter can throw at the athlete, without Nike throwing something back. Elements defied.

'Defy The Elements' Media Tool

This interactive digital tool allows the user to guide two athletes though a journey and see how Nike’s Holiday 2012 range equips them with everything they need to win against the elements in the coldest, wettest months of the year.

Roll over any item of apparel from the Nike Holiday 2012 range to discover how its key features can boost performance and take the sting out of winter training. Visit the asset library to download images and information on every scene and product featured. Click the button above to begin.
