In response to burgeoning product demands, Spreadshirt, the leading multi-channel clothing commerce platform company, opened its second production facility in the US on August 6, 2012.

The new 36,000 sq. ft. building in Henderson, Nevada represents a capital investment of over $1M and will add 75- 100 employees to staff the facility by year’s end.

After a record-breaking 2011 with 109% YOY growth in the US and 43% globally, Spreadshirt continues its growth trend with 40-50% global revenue expected in 2012.

“The addition of the newest facility allows Spreadshirt to better serve its customers on both sides of the coast,” said Phillip Rooke, CEO of Spreadshirt. “Spreadshirt’s unique clothing-commerce platform and design-friendly technology, has fueled the conception of many new ideas for customers and brands, driving production demands in the US—our fastest-growing market.

“With two US production facilities, one in Henderson, NV and one in Greensburg, PA, we are now investigating new markets around the world including Australia, Brazil, Turkey, Russia, Japan and Korea to further grow our business.”

Soaring demand for online clothing with customization options has fueled growth and the need for Spreadshirt’s latest manufacturing facility. The advent of new mobile technologies and consumer appeal of wearing ideas and custom apparel will aid in the continuation of this growth—especially with new offerings from social media like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.

The leader in global multi-channel clothing commerce has their US headquarters in Boston, MA, with the United States setting the fastest pace for the global market. A glimpse at Spreadshirt’s revenue growth best tells the story: $41M in 2010, $63.5M in 2011, and on track for revenue to eclipse $100M in 2012.

The new facility in Henderson will also add valuable jobs to the region—Nevada leads the nation in unemployment numbers.

"The state of Nevada is pleased to welcome Spreadshirt as the latest addition to our corporate community,” Governor Brian Sandoval said. “Henderson has worked hard to diversify its economy with modern industries and support its manufacturing center roots. The creation of high quality, stable jobs in Southern Nevada is extremely good news and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with Spreadshirt.”

People continue turning to Spreadshirt to find, create, share, market and produce an unlimited variety of designs. The growing e-commerce market of over 200 million users is expected to continue propelling Spreadshirt’s future global growth.

Spreadshirt is the leading multi-channel clothing commerce platform for creating, buying and selling personalized apparel. For the more than 40,000 active online shops selling around the world in 2011, the Spreadshirt c-commerce platform offers a flexible, risk-free, print-on-demand approach. Spreadshirt’s fulfillment service handles everything from production and payment to shipping and customer service.
