Uniform provider G&K supports fight against breast cancer

The Workforce for a Cure campaign encourages G&K Services’ customers to trade-in their everyday work wear for pink ribbon apparel during the month of October. The program began three years ago when GKdirect worked with oil and gas companies across the country for Fueling Awareness, a nationwide campaign in support of breast cancer awareness.

"G&K is honored to support this worthy cause,” said Jeffrey L. Wright, G&K’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “We extend a sincere thank you to all of our customers and their employees who participate in the Workforce for a Cure campaign."

GKdirect offers thirteen Awareness Apparel items and donates a portion of the purchase price to the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. All Awareness Apparel comes embroidered with the breast cancer awareness ribbon.
