Sales up 2.6% at multi-channel retailer Debenhams in FY'12

Seven new franchised Debenhams stores expanded Debenhams into countries including Russia and Pakistan this year. They bring the total number of Debenhams overseas stores to 70, with plans to expand still further.

Debenhams will continue its successful international expansion, with 20 stores planned over the next four years in locations including Bulgaria, Estonia, Egypt and Turkey. The number of countries the retailer delivers online orders to outside the UK will increase by another 30 countries to 96.
