Penelope & Monica Cruz to launch new lingerie line

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica Cruz, in collaboration with the British lingerie company Agent Provocateur will be coming up with the new lingerie collection called the L’Agent diffusion line. The lingerie collection will include bras, panties and corsets in 15 different styles.

The partnership between the sisters and the UK firm began when the company approached Monica for the lingerie designs during the autumn/winter innerwear ad campaign. The team work will continue for the next five years, the company said.

The L’Agent lingerie will be available in the stores by August 2013 and the cost of the lingerie will be much less than that of the other Agent Provocateur lingerie products.

Earlier, the Cruz sisters had worked with Japanese handbag designer company Samantha Thavasa and Spanish clothing company Mango.

Agent Provocateur was founded in 1994 by Joseph Corre, the son of British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood along with his then wife Serena Rees. Apart from lingerie, the UK-based brand specializes in nightwear, swimwear, hosiery products and bed spreads.
