Haggar Clothing Company and the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) are proud to announce their 5th annual Trade In - Trade Up event. This year, Haggar will partner with two new national retail partners, Belk Department Stores and Stage Stores, to host this year’s events.

The “Stage-Haggar Trade In Your Pants For Charity 2012,” will take place Friday, Nov. 2nd through Sunday, Nov. 4th, at All Stage Stores. The “Belk-Haggar Recycle Your Pants for Charity 2012” will take place Wednesday Nov. 7th through Saturday, Nov. 10th at all Belk Stores.

These events provide customers with an opportunity to donate gently used clothing for a great cause and get an excellent price on Haggar casual and dress pants in return. All Haggar casual and dress pants will be sold for one low price of $24.99. Customer(s) can bring in any brand of gently used pants to donate to The Purple Heart Service Foundation who will sell the items at their thrift stores to aid and rehabilitate veterans and their families. Overall, this is a win/win situation for everyone involved.

Since its beginnings in Dallas, Texas in 1926, the Haggar Clothing Co. has grown from a simple manufacturer of men's fine apparel into one of the most recognized brands in the market, with Haggar casual pants, dress pants and suit separates and an extensive licensing program offering head-to-toe clothing options for style-conscious men of all ages and professions. Haggar is a brand with a legacy of leadership and innovation; it is a brand with great history and an even brighter future.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A. Inc. (MOPH) is a congressionally chartered national veteran´s service organization. The funding for veterans services, welfare, rehabilitation, and educational programs comes from the Purple Heart Service Foundation, Inc. Funds for these programs are raised by the sale of useable household goods and apparel contributions, thus aiding all veterans and their families.

Chartered by Congress, the Military Order of the Purple Heart is the ONLY national organization composed entirely of combat wounded veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal. It was founded on the decoration originally established by General George Washington in 1782 for gallantry, fidelity, and service.

Through funding provided by the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation (MOPH), the Purple Heart supports and sponsors programs which benefit not only combat wounded, but all veterans and their families at no cost. Clothing that can't be sold through traditional retail outlets are sold to textile recycling companies who reuse the discarded clothing in a multitude of ways.
