With an aim to enable garment makers in Thailand to boost their international presence, CAT Telecom has launched CAT e-exhibition, which would help Thai garment producers to present their products before world market.

The e-exhibition is aimed at helping the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA) in improving the marketing and management technology. It is a platform embracing multimedia technologies that would allow Thai garment producers to showcase their products to consumers across the world through Internet.

Not restricting itself to just being a website, the innovative marketing tool provides an extensive online exhibition experience just like a real exhibition, where people can have a look at and touch all the products virtually.

Experts believe that the e-exhibition presenting a three-dimensional virtual presentation of the products can help TGMA members and Thai garment and fashion businesses to earn international exposure in an instant and effective manner.

The virtual event also offers management systems including market information and customer database systems, membership systems, stock inventory management systems and even online meeting systems that can help traders and producers to maintain a direct contact and discuss business matters.

The e-exhibition would also facilitate easy entry of Thai garments in the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.

TGMA being a key organization for Thai garment industry serves as a propeller for the sector and leads the way for Thai fashion to reach the international market. Through the e-exhibition, CAT Telecom intends to help TGMA to enlarge its global market network.

The e-exhibition also supports live streaming, which is believed to become fully operational by first quarter of 2013.

CAT Telecom Public Company Limited is the state-owned company that runs Thailand’s international telecommunications infrastructure, including its international gateways, satellite, and submarine cable networks connections.
