Asian International Apparel Sourcing Show 2012, the leading garment and textile sourcing fair that aims to tap unexplored export markets, has kicked off in Singapore with an impressive number of top apparel suppliers from the entire Asian continent taking part in the event.

The three-day-long exhibition will help in bringing together fabric producers, garment makers and suppliers from the Asia-Pacific region as well as buyers from the USA, EU, and East Asia and Australia.

A variety of clothing and accessories, including denims, sportswear, hi-fashion designer labels, babies and children’s wear, as well as trims are being exhibited in the show.

Nearly thirty Bangladeshi apparel producers registered with the `Export Promotion Bureau', over ten garment firms under Sri Lanka Export Development Board, seven members of the Textile and Fashion Federation of Singapore, six companies with the Indonesian Silk Association and several other apparel and textile manufacturers from China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand are participating in the expo.

The biggest trade networking event of Asia is being jointly organized by CEMS-Global and Bangladesh’s Export Promotion Bureau.
