The Japan International Apparel Machinery Trade Show (JIAM 2012 Osaka), held for four days at INTEX Osaka, and attended by 207 exhibitors from 17 countries and territories who occupied 1,028.6 booth spaces, ended successfully. The organizers gratefully acknowledge the cooperation and support of all those who helped make it such a success.

Aiming to seriously promote the greater cooperation and integration of allied industries, this tenth show in the series was billed as New-look JIAM. The exhibition showcased the strengths of the Japanese sewing machine industry along with the power of the textile, apparel and fashion industries. The show was blessed with sunny weather, and the special theme zone, as well as the varied exhibitor displays, impressed many people from inside and outside the industry, and from Japan and overseas.

Attendance: The show attracted serious visitors from 53 countries and territories

Worldwide, attendance was 15,764 people (2,594 from overseas) from 53 countries and areas. As well as coming from the sewing machinery sector, visitors listed involvement in related sectors such as apparel making, retailer and trading company.
