A revolutionary under clothing, designed specifically for older men who suffer from irritable bowel problems, has become the latest fad amongst men of all age groups in Japan, according to ABC News.

Developed by Japan’s Seiren Co. Ltd., the wonder innerwear has been infused with flatulence absorbing capabilities.

The company initially sold the wonder pant only in nursing homes and hospitals, but then it was sought by everyone, Nobuyuki Imai, a Director of the 120-year-old company, told ABC News.

Made from hundred percent cotton, the brief’s deodorising technology contains smell absorbing ceramic particles and odour decomposing metal ions.

Seeing the huge demand for deodorising briefs, the company is currently developing odour-absorbing socks.

Founded in 1889, Seiren Co. Ltd. specializes in planning, manufacturing, dyeing and finishing of various textile products.
