Rehabmart.com, an online e-commerce company that sells rehabilitation and medical supplies, has joined into a distribution collaboration with TheraTogs, Incorporated, to offer their new ULTRA Wunzi Infant System TheraTogs for Early Intervention to a larger consumer market.

Developed by a world-class clinician, TheraTogs offer one of the most innovative, progressive and versatile modalities available today for physical and occupational therapy practices. Based on neuromuscular science and biomechanical principles, TheraTogs are a 'live-in exo-muscular system for neuromotor, postural, and sensory training', and this system provides a flexible and versatile approach for addressing and managing sensory input, stability and mobility issues.

Made from a patented, proprietary material with an inner foam layer that grips the skin and the underlying soft tissues, TheraTogs feature a Velcro-sensitive outer layer to which clinicians can attach elastic strapping as the 'external muscle' of the system.

Therapy that individuals would only typically receive when visiting their physical or occupational therapist can now be incorporated day and night with this live-in system of continued therapy. As the latest addition to the TheraTogs ULTRA line, the Wunzi Infant System TheraTogs for Early Intervention is an easy to apply and easy to use wearable body hug that stabilizes the core and improves trunk alignment for infants with sensory and motor development deficits.

As an essential early intervention modality for those critical early infant growth months, the Wunzi helps increase sensory awareness and information; limits excessive trunk motions; trains functioning trunk muscles in a shorter state to improve postural alignments and control; improves functioning alignment of the hips and/or shoulders; improves respiration by reducing flexible kyphosis; and gently stabilizes one or both scapulae.

Offering a simpler alternative to the two-garment TheraTogs system, the Wunzi is modeled on the popular 'onesie' clothing for infants, and actually offers three systems in one. The base Wunzi System offers the core-strengthening Wunzi garment set along with a single TogRite Cross Strap to attain most posture and torso alignment strapping applications. This new system replaces the previous infant-sized PTA (Posture & Torso Alignment) System from TheraTogs, and the new Wunzi Limb Kits can now address any of the indications previously supported by the TheraTogs Upper and/or Lower Extremity strapping applications.

The comfortable, breathable, foam-lined Wunzi Infant System is especially indicated for use with hypotonia, torticollis, diplegic or hemiplegic cerebral palsy, athetosis, cerebellar ataxia, BPI and other developmental delay issues.
